It is even quite useful to farm gold like this on higher levels. It is an advice that you download the Gatherer addon which will track all of your discovered ores and herbs so you don’t have to roam around trying to remember where a vein or a herb was on the map.

Inscription - Write History

December 4th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

Inscription is the latest profession in the World of Warcraft introduced with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Because everybody can use glyphs to strengthen his or her character Inscription is really nice because it allows a player to make them.

As a Scribe you are able to create various class specific glyphs as well as various vellums, scrolls, off-hand tomes and Darkmoon cards. With Inscription you will also get a gathering skill called milling. With the use of this skill you will be able to create the needed mats from herbs. Click here for more on Inscription Guide WoW

Trainers loations

Inscription trainers could be found in every capital city and allow a player to train his skill up to 300. However, to train 375 Inscription skill a player will have to go to Hellfire Peninsula and for 450 he will have to go to Northrend.

What are vellums used for?

Vellums can be used by Enchanters because it allows them to place their Enchants on the Vellum. An Enchanter uses Vellum to place his enchants and then trade/sell it to other players via Auction House. If he has alt chars this is an easy way to enchant their gear.

How do Glyphs work?

Like said before, the glyph system is something new in WoW. Every player is able to use 6 glyphs that will strengthen his character. Those glyphs are three minor and three major glyphs. If he has a dual spec he can also make different choice of glyphs for that other spec and save it.

Tomes

A Scribe can also produce various BoE (Bind on Equip) off-hand tomes. This is not so profitable as other services a Scribe can provide but it can be useful. For the best leveling guide click here: Ultimate Guide WoW.

What is Minor Inscription Research

Minor Inscription Research is available to every Scribe and should be used on every cooldown. With this research a Scribe is able to discover a new glyph which he can later craft. For this research he will need the following mats:

A Virtuoso Inking Set

Reagents: Moonglow Ink and 2x Light Parchment

If you do the research by using the reagents above you will receive several scrolls and you’ll have a high chance to learn to make a new glyph.

Inscription + Herbalism

Herbalism goes great with Inscription because you can use it to gather a lot of herbs. You will need a lot of herbs to make mats needed for your Inscription skill.

Is Inscription profitable?

If you devote your time into Inscription it will prove to be quite profitable. By making the glyphs alone you could earn quite a bit. Some glyphs are cheap to buy and yet some are more expensive. In time you will be able to research more glyphs and be able to craft all the expensive ones.

By teaming up with an Enchanter you would be able to profit greatly just by selling enchants placed on vellums. Perhaps you are already an Enchanter. Use your Inscription profession to sell your enchants faster and easier. If you do it like this there will be no need to stand in the cities all day announcing which Enchants you can make.

You can also earn quite a bit by making the Darkmoon cards or even whole decks. Once combined into a deck you can take a quest from it. A quest ends when a Darkmoon fair time comes and you a player can hand in his deck and receive a really good epic trinket. If you would like more on WoW Leveling, click here: WoW Guide

WoW Herbalism - Nature at Hand

December 2nd, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

Herbalism belongs to the gathering professions in WoW. If you are leveling a character from 1 to 80 you will surely have no problem with leveling this wonderful profession. Even if you choose to learn it at level 80, it will pose no problems, as you will be able to level it up for just a few hours.

What are the characteristics of Herbalism?

Herbalism is about gathering various herbs in different areas on the map. What it is that you can make with these gathered herbs? With just herbs you can’t do much but sell stacks on the Auction House. However, combining Herbalism with Alchemy or Inscription will give a really good use of this profession.

With Alchemy you can make various potions, elixirs and flasks with the use of herbs. These are used to enhance your character’s performance in game, especially in instances and raids.

Wrath of the Lich King expansion introduced the new profession - Inscription. A Scribe is able to make different kinds of glyphs that are also used to enhance some important characteristics and abilities of any class. Herbalism is a good match for Inscription since one will require stacks of herbs to create different types of inks used for inscriptions. Click here for more on WoW Herbalism

How do I find herbs?

It is very easy. Herbs are scattered all over the map. However, not all areas are rich in herbs and there are some that are considered to be a herb paradise. With the ability to Find Herbs you will be able to track herbs on your minimap. You can also use an add-on, such as Gatherer, which will help you find the nods with desired herbs more easily. This addon will save the positions on the map where you picked up an herb and it also can store the information from a party member or a guild member.

Benefits

Herbalism will provide you with Lifeblood ability. This ability is instant, costs no mana and it can heal you about 3600 over 5 seconds. Lifeblood has a 3 minute cooldown. While leveling, this ability can come in handy especially for classes without any healing abilities.

Also, you will be saving considerable amounts of gold on flasks, elixirs and potions. These come as a necessity in any raid or instance and as an Herbalist you can make them for yourself or sell them to other players. It is very easy to collect herbs, especially with the faster flying mounts which give additional speed boost. For the best leveling guide click here: Ultimate Guide WoW

Choosing Herbalism according to your class

Is there any particular class which is perfectly suited for herbalism? No, that is not the case. Any class can become an Herbalist even though some classes tend to need it more than others. In example, tanks and healers are frequently seen to gather herbs since these two specializations highly depend on flasks, elixirs and pots. Druids have a slight advantage in herb gathering because of their instant flying form which allows gathering while staying in it. Shapeshifting instantly into your flight form and picking up herbs while still in this form can make gathering herbs quite easy.

Other useful items

Any beginner Herbalist will think that his bags are good enough for herb gathering. But it is not for very long! They will soon realize that they are short with space in their bags. However, this problem is easily solved with the help of Tailors who can make special Herbal bags. These bags can carry only herbs, but they are offering additional bag slots than normal bags do.
