Introduction to the Cooking Guide

Cooking in WoW is a great skill to learn and it does mesh well with several other professions, such as a fishing. You can actually earn a modest amount of gold with your cooking skill and you don’t have to put in a lot of effort, making it fun for players to give it a try.

In the past, most people didn’t give this profession a second thought, but with Burning Crusade and WotLK a lot more opportunities opened up. You can actually make some things that other players really need, so this is a good way to get extra gold. Click here to find out about a great guide: Zygor guide review

Lets get Started

Once you decide that you want to give cooking a try, you’ll need to have fire. This requires the items: Flint and Tinder as well as Simple Wood. Open up your spell book to see which recipes you would like to try. Remember though that your fire won’t last long so make sure you have bought enough wood.

Once you have completed your apprenticeship, you may need to spend a little to make a little at first. However, once you advance and go through more quests, you’ll have easy access to the items that you need for your recipes. Making Gold by Cooking
Although cooking appears a generally useless skill, it’s what you cook that makes a difference. You will need to focus on foods that carry Buff points as these can be sold at the auction house. Warp Burgers are also very expensive and sell for about 1 gold piece each. It’s very easy to make 50 gold pieces an hour using this tip.

The seasons can be very important. At Xmas there will be quests that players need egg nog for and can earn 1 gold piece each making you even more gold. If you would like more on Gold Leveling, click here: Luke’s Guide

Leveling Up

Here’s a quick and easy way to progress in skill from 1 to 375. You’ll need to start in Ironforge. Purchase one flour and one mild spices to make your first recipe of Spiced Bread. This will get you to 40. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to get 30 mild spices as well as some more wood. Then get to Auberdine and find a Moonkin. Keep killing it until you have around 20 eggs or more. This will take you to skill level 60.

Then head south to Ashenvale and collect clams dropped by crawlers. Cook these back at Ironforge and sell them. Then cook the clams with the help of a cooking trainer. This will take your skill level up to around 125. All you need to do now is get the expert cookbook to be on your way to 375.

Daily Quests

These are newer quests that were introduced recently into the game. But you’ll need to have a cooking skill of at least 275 to take part in most of them. The good news is that the rewards are quite high. Click here to read more: Team iDemise Review

Warcraft Cooking Guide

October 8th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

The following WoW Cooking guide will take you through the secondary profession of cooking. Cooking is perhaps one of the best secondary professions for players who do a lot of solo play and are non healers.

WoW Cooking- Levels 1-150

The first step to the cooking profession is to find a trainer, which are usually located near fires or pots in large cities. Ask a guard for directions if you do need help finding a trainer. Once you’re an apprentice find a fire and some fish or other meat and some spices. You can cook on pretty much any fire you come across but it’s really easy just to learn to make your own. The only additional things you’ll need are flint, wood and some tinder.

Expert Levels 125-225

Next you’ll want to advance your skills to the expert level. It’ll require the use of an Expert Cookbook. If you’re Horde, head over to Shadowprey Village in Desolace to find this book. The 2 options for Alliance is to go to either Dirge Quikcleve in Gadgetzan or to Silverwind Refuge over in Ashenvale.

Artisan Levels 200-300

The next level to advance to is Artisan which will require some questing. The trainer Zamja in Ogrimmar can provide training to Horde characters. Those who are part of the Alliance faction can get trained by Daryl Riknussun in Ironforge.

Master 300-375

I won’t go into too much detail in this WoW cooking guide about the Master level but you’ll need a cookbook that you can find in Hellfire Peninsula.

Recipes

You can get recipes by killing monsters, from chests, questing or you can buy them.

Fishing and cooking go really good together. Mainly because selling cooked fish will be profitable than selling raw fish. When it come the healing cooked fish is the way to go. Besides fish, just about anything can be cooked and sold to other players. There’re some recipes that can give you some really fantastic buffs during raids for instance.

I won’t go into to much detail here but if you don’t have the cooking profession you can level up by questing which will mean killing monsters and then cooking them.

WoW Cooking Guide

July 30th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

Let’s start with a quick note on what WoW cooking actually is.

Cooking , a secondary skill, is used by all classes as a way to re-gain health. A melee class that cannot restore health will require food and want to purchase food after combat to re-gain their health points.

If a healers mana is running low they will depend on food to restore health to save their mana. Cooking is handy when you have been grinding and need some health before you go fight your next battle. Meat , eggs and fish can be cooked to restore health and this is especially handy when doing raids.

I propose you take fishing with cooking as it is easier to level up your cooking. It is a good deal better to level up your cooking and fishing at the together.

What do you need to begin cooking? To start with you will require to know how to make a fire. Once you know that you will require the materials to make fire, such as, wood, flint and tinder. You will also need to be trained in cooking by a NPC cooking trainer. Some recipes also require spices. This can be bought from merchants or the AH. You can make a fair sum of gold if you sell you cooked recipes to other WoW players who maybe need that specific recipe for a buff. Get cracking and start cooking your way to an abundance of gold. This is not the ultimate way you want to be making gold though this can be achieved by going to my gold making tips page here.

WoW Gold Guide

Cooking has not generally been that popular but due to the release of the Burning Crusade , Cooking’s demand and popularity has undeniably sky-rocketed.

If you require a new recipe or 2.

Try possibly asking 1 or a couple of your guildies to be on the lookout for a particular recipe. You can purchase recipes from a vendor or gain recipes from monster drops, chests or once you have completed a certain quest. The auction house is always a good source for recipes.

Some info you might need.

To level your cooking to 300 without using fishing as well have a look at these 2 recipes. Charred Bear Kebabs and Juicy Bear Burgers. Both these recipes can be bought. For the Alliance in Felwood, find Malygen and for the Horde , find Bale in Felwood as well.

Just a quick note: For the 2 recipes I just mentioned your cooking level requires you to be level 250 and you will require the meat from level 48-56 bears.

You can make some random cooking reagents and gold if you partake in the daily cooking quests in Shattrath City, find the Rokk at the lake north of the city.

By now you would like to surely know how to level up your cooking to 450 right?
