A raging berserker, a bully, an iron-clad juggernaut…whatever you call the Warriors, they remain a class of their own when it comes to melee combat. In combat, they prefer going close and personal; they withstand massively destructive attacks as well while tanking for their teams. When everything fails, they make excellent runners in defensive too. {That’s what Warriors are and that’s what they do}. If you’re rolling a Warrior PvP, you can try the suggestions below for creating an impressive character.
{The Warrior’s Abilities}
The Warrior is the damage powerhouse that other classes can never become. They are the walking muscles and plated armors of WoW and as such, they can outlast their opponents while tanking for their teams. They jump right into where the battles are thickest for they do solid damage within melee range and more often than not emerge victorious unless a ranged caster is within sight. Over all, the Warriors are designed to hurl their opponents to their graveyards while all the while rallying their teams to where the there is action.
{The Warrior’s Spec}
Although Warriors have three different talent builds, the best spec perhaps for a Warrior PvP is the Arms build. It is infamous for its Bladestorm and Mortal Strike (a talent know for its very powerful burst damage and debuff) which are very helpful for PvP players as well as the Juggernaut which grants you extra power to charge while in combat.
The Fury build, on the other hand, is best for players who want to roll a PvE character. It has more powerful single target damage talents than any other Warrior build which may also be useful if you’re rolling the PvP route. Finally is the Protection build which is the tanking spec of the class. It is capable of tanking multiple targets thanks to its abilities from the Protection tree.
{Tips for Warrior PvP}
As a Warrior battling against against real players, there are a few tips that may help you wade into the battle without getting fatal scars.
{Make the most of your Rage stat}. Warriors have the same bar as the Mana bar of the casters; only for them it’s called the Rage bar. This bar is crucial in opening up a few special abilities requiring Rage.
As the Warrior fights, the Rage points accumulate and once enough has been accumulated, you’d be able to perform special skills and abilities. Use them to the limits of their capacity. Also, don’t waste your Rage points by changing your Stance every so often.
Use your stances…wisely. For every condition, there is an appropriate stance for it. You’d do well to memorize what a specific Stance does. For example, if you’re on solo combats, your best stance is the Battle Stance, Defensive Stance is for defensive attacks, and Berserker Stance is best used when maximizing critical strikes. Using any of your stance may prove disadvantageous in certain situations as well as discriminate with using any of the Stances.
Again, your Stance has an effect on your Rage points so be discriminate with their use.
Finally, for a Warrior PvP to be really effective in any team, your team should have a primary healer within range.
