One of the best ways for you to spend some time with your friends is to arrange a gaming party. Some people are under the impression that it is quite unsociable to play video games but if you were to attend a gaming party you would see that this is not the case. And if this party is organised properly then it can be just as social as any other kind of party or even more. Here are a few tips for those who are considering arranging this type of party.

 

- Sitting back and watching other people playing games is really no fun for anyone as most people want to get a piece of the action. You may find that the night becomes a little bit boring if you only have one PC or one games console as people will be sitting around waiting to play. In order to avoid this, it would be a good idea to have at least three or four different options for playing games. This does not mean that you have to provide all these gaming options; simply ask your guests to bring along their console.

 

- Like all parties you are going to want to have food and refreshments. To make sure that there are no accidents, you should place the food and drink in a different room to the gaming.

 

- It is better to have at least one console hooked up to a big screen if you can because this will allow those not playing to enjoy the games. It is never fun to have to stand up and try to get a look over someone’s shoulder but if you have a big screen, they can sit back and watch.

 

- If you intend to have some type of gaming tournament at the party then this can work really well. You will need to plan in advance and have all the rules of the tournament agreed by the participants.

 

- Gaming parties can get a bit noisy so make sure you give your neighbours fair warning.

Quck Leveling Method for Your WoW Character

Have you ever switching methods again and again just to make your character level up faster? I’ve been in that situation, and it is very frustrating. I’m SURE that a better method to level my character, get up to date gears, and gain sufficient gold exist; I’ve seen my friends did that. The problem is I don’t know how they manage to did that.

Fast forward a couple of months of tirelessly research, I found some methods for WoW quick leveling:

1. Find an Inn or Capital City before log out
An old way, but for someone who have limited playing time like me, the rested XP is help me a lot.

If you are in an Inn or capital city, your player portrait will glow and your level circle will say zzz. This is a sign that you are resting and if you log off there, you will continue to rest while offline. Every 8 hours resting, you will get one bar of rested XP which is equal to 5% of a level.

2. Get other player to run me through dungeons
Used in every other MMORPG. The basic is ask someone with higher level to group with you, kill some high level monsters in high level dungeons, and get the shared experience points. It is an easy way to level up in very short time. The drawback is you cannot use this method at will since it is highly dependant on other character. 3. Questing with an optimized quest series
There are massive quests in WoW and doing a series of selected quests in the right order is the fastest way to achieve maximum level. The problem is selecting the best quests with the best rewards and can be done simultaneously with other quests. Time efficiency is crucial part in this; you must not running to a place for a quest and then come back again later just to get an item for another quests; complete multiple tasks at one go whenever possible!

Well, unless you are eager to spend your time researching and testing quests, I suggest following a guide for this method.

You can also mix some dungeons and instances solo for extra experience when your level is below the next quest requirement. Using a class with more endurance will also help; for example: 1) Hunter since he has pet; 2) Paladin, Shaman, and Priest since they have healing skill. Making Gold at Northrend | Farm At The Best Spots

If you want to mass your gold in WoW, you have multiple options that you can do such as gather materials, craft items, enchant gears, playing with the Auction House supply and demand, etc. But maybe due to our nature, many of us still prefer the classic method of gold making that have exist since the first RPG developed: farming.

Bashing monsters while earning gold is a great way to testing your skill and gear while having fun at the same time. I have prepared a list of farming spots in Northrend where you can gain proper amount of gold per hour. If you are looking for information on early level farming, I recommend that you check gold farming guide.

If you have reached Northrend, here’s the list:

1. The Storm Peaks
Mobs:
- Scion of Storm (level 78); has one in three chances to give you Relic of Ulduar and 26% probabilty in dropping Crystallized Air.
- Seething Revenant (level 79); have 34% chances to drop Relic of Ulduar, 26% chances to drop Crystallized Fire.
- Icebound Revenant (level 78); has 22% probability in dropping Crystallized Water.
- Nascent Val’kyr (level 78); have 100% chances to drop Dissolved Soul Essence, 0.5% chances to drop Fractured Scarlet Ruby.
- Valkyrion Aspirant (level 74); it has 29% probability in dropping Frostweave Cloth and 41% probability for dropping Relic of Ulduar.

2. Wintergrasp (PvP territory)
Mobs:
- Tempest Revenant (level 80); have 100% chance to drop Crystallized Air.
Water Revenant (level 80); nearly always gives you Crystallized Water.
- Shadow Revenant (level 80); have 99% chances to drop Crystallized Shadow.
- Flame Revenant (level 80); have 99% chances to drop Crystallized Fire.
- Earthbound Revenant (level 80); definitely will gives you Crystallized Earth.
Note that these mobs can only be seen with the ‘Essence of Wintergrasp’ buff.

3. Icecrown
Mobs:
- Converted Hero (level 79); have 40% chances to drop Frostweave Cloth. For every pack, there is about six mobs included; so the strategy is round them up and finish them quickly, thus you can have proper gold per hour rate.

4. Dragonblight
Start from south of Venomspite and keep moving south while taking down every mobs that you encounter. Most of them are humanoid type, so you’ll gain gold from them as well as various items. If your level is high enough, you can finish them quickly without much difficulties (most of the NPC are between level 70 and 73).

When you reach The Forgotten Shore, sweep the coast line for more mobs, then get to the ship and kill even more mobs. By the time you have done, the previous mobs should have respawn  already, so go back to where you came from and repeat the whole process.

Important thing to do: before starting anything, go to AH and check the current item price, thus you can go for the highest payout. Of course, checking prices is only a basic thing to do, check gold secrets review for more advanced AH method to maximize your earning from farming.

With so many options in gold making, obviously one will be better than the other. Eg: a player that have mastered Auction House can earn more gold in shorter time line that the one that mining ore for hours. Building A Combat Rogue | Know the Best Talent Build

Similar to other WoW classes, a major rogue talent build will going deep into one of the three talent tree: Assassination, Combat, or Subtlety. This guide will teach you to going deep into the Combat tree while mixing some points into the other two trees for some skills boosting.

Combat
Improved Sinister Strike (2/2): Reduce the Energy Cost for Sinister Strike

Dual Wield Specialization (5/5): Increase the damage from offhand weapon by 50%. Since Rogue has been allowed to use axe, an Orc Rogue with two good axes equipped can be very dangerous due to his/her Axe Specialization.

Precision (5/5): Raise the probability to hit with weapon and poison by 5%.

Close Quarters Combat (5/5): When you use dagger or fist weapons, you’ll critical rate raised by 5%. This talent will give another advantage for your Combat Rogue since he/she can use the most suitable weapons for various battle conditions.

Lightning Reflexes (3/3): Increase Dodge by 6% and add 10% melee haste. The 10% melee haste will boost your Hack and Slash potential.

Aggression (5/5): Increase the damage of Sinister Strike, Backstab, and Eviscerate by 5%.

Blade Flurry (1/1): Increase attack speed by 20% and attacks strike an additional nearby opponent. Last 15 seconds.

Hack and Slash (5/5): Gives 5% chance to get extra attack on a target after hit it with sword or axe. Previously named ‘Sword Specialization’, this is one of the primary talents in this Rogue talent build. Use the fastest axe you can get to make full use of this talent.

Weapon Expertise (2/2): Increase your expertise by 10.

Blade Twisting (2/2): Increase the damage by Sinister Strike and Backstab by 10%.

Vitality (3/3): Increase Energy Regeneration by 25%.

Adrenaline Rush (1/1): Increase Energy Regeneration by 100% for 15 seconds.

Throwing Specialization (2/2): Increase range of Deadly Throw and gives it 100% chances to interrupt the target for 3 seconds.

Combat Potency (5/5): Gives your successful offhand melee attack 20% to generate 15 Energy.

Surprise Attack (1/1): Your finishing move cannot be dodged. It also increases various finishing moves damages by 10%.

Savage Combat (2/2): Increase total attack power by 4% and increase damage to poisoned enemies.

Prey on the Weak (5/5): Increase critical strike damage by 20% when your target has less health than you.

Killing Spree (1/1): Step through the shadows from enemy to enemy within 10 yards, attacking an enemy every 0.5 seconds with both weapons until 5 assaults are made, and increasing all damage done by 20% for the duration. This talent and Fan of Knives Spell are your AoE skill and can be used to put poison on many targets.

This may looks that it can be take a long time to build, I suggest you check quick leveling in WoW for a few tips to speed up your leveling process. For the rest of the points, I suggest that you spend on these talents:

Assassination
Malice (5/5): increase the probability to do a critical strike.

Ruthlessness (3/3): Gives finishing moves 60% chance to put a combo point at your target.

Blood Spatter (2/2): Increase Rupture and Garrote damage by 30%.

Subtlety
Relentless Strike (5/5): Your finising moves have 20% chance per combo point to restore 25 Energy.

Using this Rogue talent build, you can easily adapt to various situation by swapping weapons; it also complemented by Throwing Specialization talent that will increase the survivability rate of your Combat Rogue. It is best used by Orc Rogue since he/she can use Axe Specialization, Hack and Slash, and Lightning Reflexes, which is a powerful combination.
