Paladins are among the best classes, especially for beginners, that World of Warcraft has to offer.  With the changes to the class after all the expansions, this class has become very effective.  Paladins not only have the ability to cause a lot of damage, but they are very effect tanks and healers.
In any group, it is necessary that you have three of the essential roles in order to succeed.  These three roles are a healer, a tank, and damage dealers.  Paladins have the ability to play all three of these roles, and in some cases are preferred.  They are a favorite among players for their superior tanking abilities, and multiple fallback options when things get rough.
There are certain special abilities that are possessed by Paladins that make them a valuable class in Warcraft. After every one hour in the game they get the power to completely heal any target that they want to. They can also be sacrificed in order to make a target immune for a few minutes and then remove them from the combat when the need be so. This proves to be a very useful way of saving crews.
In order to help their groups Paladins are also provided with two types of buffs. While one buff lasts for 10 minutes the other one lasts for 30 minutes. The one that lasts for 10 minutes can only be targeted to a single person, in comparison to the other one that lasts for 30 minutes that can take care of the other people that are of the same class.
One thing that can be considered a weakness for Paladins is that they are very dependant on their mana.  Is a Paladin runs out of mana, they become a weak link in the group and have little to offer.  To offset this weakness, Paladins have several mana managing techniques, and also have the option of receiving help from a potion or fellow Druid.
Paladins have the ability to wear heavy armor, making them formidable opponents like Warriors.  They aren’t very good long range fighters, however.  They can offset this disadvantage through the use of Librams, which are akin to wands.  A new Libram is available with each talent specialization, and has its own set of uses in a situation.
As we have warned before, while playing a Paladin you must be very attentive about how much mana you have at any given time.  When a Paladin runs out of mana, especially if they are playing a pivotal role in the group, it could be very bad.  Be sure to use every mana management technique available to you.  Additionally, be sure to get repairs whenever you have the opportunity, as waiting can become quite expensive.
