American films are controversial. This is mostly as a result of rating system used. Numerous studies cited by the CDC suggest that children and young teens do respond to smoking seen in films; they’re more likely to try smoking, versus adolescents who see little of it. Health issues could get worse which is a common concern for public health officials. You will find many G, PG and PG-13 movies that have had smoking seen in them.
