In Mafia Wars, just like in real life, you can accomplish jobs to earn cash. With this cash, and again, just like in real life, you can then go out and buy certain goodies in Mafia Wars.

The first thing you’ll need when you earn cash in Mafia Wars is to upgrade your weaponry, vehicles and technology. You can’t stay fight with baseball bats on the streets infinitely, especially if you like that white Armani 3 piece suit and the double deck yatch for your offshore partying.

The more weapons, equipment and other goodies (usually referred to as loot) you obtain, the higher paying the jobs you can do.

Some loot can be simply bought, and some has to be earned through certain jobs. Below are 4 of my favorite loot items and how to acquire them, so you can rank up and do bigger jobs, earn more money and retire to the Costa Del Sol with your family and associates, to do, erm…whatever retired Mafia bosses do in warm climates.

Semi-Automatic Shotgun

The Semi Automatic Shotgun can be looted in the Soldier Tier by completing the job ‘Fight a Haitian Gang.’

Si-14 Cargo Plane (Cuba)

The Si-14 Cargo Plane is a special loot vehicle in Mafia Wars Cuba. You can get the Si-14 Cargo Plane in the El Padrino Tier by completing the ‘Capture The Airport’ job.

Stab-Proof Vest

The Stab-Proof vest is a loot armor item in Mafia Wars. Where do you get the Stab-Proof Vest? The Stab-Proof Vest can be looted in the Soldier Tier by completing the job ‘Kill a Protected Snitch.’

Street Gang Member (Cuba)

Street Gang Members are a dime a dozen in Cuba, but since they’re a loot item they’re actually even cheaper. You can obtain Street Gang Members in the El Soldado Tier by get the ‘Intimidate The Locals’ job done.

By looting up with these items, you can get bigger and better jobs done faster. Many new players of Mafia Wars find stuck on the early levels since they don’t know how or where to progress with bigger paying jobs and rewards.

The really cool thing about loot is that you can really SELL your looted items in the real life to other Mafia Wars players! So go loot up, look after bigger jobs, gain some respect and sell your incriminating evidence to a newbie before you take off on your new “inherited” yacht.

Master Mafia Wars

February 22nd, 2010 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

Mafia Wars is the most popular Facebook game these days.To build a strong empire you’ve got to have tons of money to buy protection and various weapons to help complete missions.  To make yourself a giant bankroll besides just doing missions is to buy properties.

Buying properties are a good way to make money because they give you passive money.  To win Mafia Wars fights, it is important that you do not just jump in blind.  Or you will find yourself bloody, broke, beaten down and in the infirmary - perhaps even dead.  It’s best to get some experience, buy some property, and grow your mafia before you begin to pick fights.  So you would like to break the competition .

the first thing you will have to learn how to do is to quickly level up.  To be in a position to stockpile EXP quickly, you have got to complete a lot of Mafia Wars missions.

Everyone knows that missions need energy to end.  So the most acceptable option for you to do is to put your profile points that you gain each level into energy.  One method to level up quickly is to focus the majority of your profile points on energy.  Completing Mafia Wars missions and roles is the handiest way to gain EXP and money, so that the more missions you complete the more EXP as well as money you can receive.  By putting points towards energy, you’ll be able to finish lots more roles in the day enabling you to stockpile EXP and money fast.

The commonest way to stockpile EXP quickly in Mafia Wars is to target spending your profile points on energy.  The more energy your personality has, the more missions you can complete enabling you to get plenty of EXP and cash.  If you gain a lot of EXP, you will be able to level up quickly suggesting you can get more GFPs.  After you hit level twenty-one, rather than putting your profile points towards energy, put three towards energy and use two of them to raise your staying power by one.

You may still need to put all the additional points you get towards energy, but just bear in mind that from level 21-50 raise your energy by three and use two towards endurance.

If Your Mafia is in the Red Find a Mafia Wars Money Guide

December 26th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

I bet you are going to adore me if you’ve been searching for a Mafia Wars money guide.  Because I’ve got the details on a pile of Mafia Wars guides that I have gotten and examined under a microscope.  My lilfe as a compulsive obsessive research freak is my tragedy and your gain.

It ruins my peace, really, even in Mafia Wars.  Why I have to have a set of colored highlighters and a 5-subject notebook to participate in Mafia Wars is beyond me.  My shoulder muscles seize and my eyes get bloodshot and I wonder…What in the world am I doing?!

It’s a disease, I’m afraid.

On the bright side, I can give you the 411 on the coolest Mafia Wars money guide that I’ve ever studied.  Since this guide is additionally very complete as a general Mafia Wars guide also, I’m glad to deliver the news.  When you need to master money in Cuba also, you’ll be satisfied with this one.  The best news?  It’s less expensive than the 4 most-popular Mafia Wars guides available on the market.

I get a little bit mad when I think about the cheaper price on this one.  See, I bought the 4 more expensive guides first.  Then I got this one – thinking it was just going to be a Mafia Wars money guide – and I found out it had more information and it was less expensive to boot.  I should know you can’t judge a how to manual by its sticker price.

The catch about purchasing a Mafia Wars money guide is that nearly every guide on the market has a section about Mafia Wars money, properties, and the bank.  How good and how much information in a guide varies quite a lot.  Particular guides have eye catching screen shots.  Certain guides provide a lot of white space between lines and paragraphs.  Particular guides may cause you to wonder what language the writer speaks as a native.

I can recommend this Mafia Wars money guide so highly because it has more pages, less spacing, fewer illustration fillers, loads of charts, a few valuable links to external resources, and – by far - the most practical Mafia Wars information.  The title of this Mafia Wars money guide is “Mafia Wars Kingpin Cashflow Blueprint.”  Don’t be surprised if the title changes tomorrow.  Zynga, who owns the copyright on “Mafia Wars,” is enforcing their copyright, and the guide writers are feeling the heat.  It won’t be a negative to change this title somewhat – it’s a mouthful!

But you can tell based on the title the writer is focused on setting you up right with Mafia Wars money.  What will amaze you is how much additional general game information you’ll get in addition.  Just to point out the neat money advice you’ll discover:

  • The logic behind the smart way to purchase properties
  • Lots and properties you can purchase and what’s the best investment
  • How to access ‘Net tools for determing Mafia Wars ROI
  • Discover when banking is intelligent and when it’s not necessary
  • How to maximize your businesses in Cuba
  • The tricks to getting Cuban pesos

…the list goes on!

When you want to have the difficulty of earning an overload of Mafia Wars money, this is the guide for you.  Say goodbye to upkeep challenges!  You’ll be raking in those money achievements before you can say “Mafia Wars Kingpin Cashflow Blueprint.”

Mafia Wars eBook and Finding your Inner Mafioso

December 23rd, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

Are you searching for a Mafia Wars ebook, or are you looking for a way to get more pleasure from your limited leisure time?  I mean, Mafia Wars isn’t about earning a paycheck or mowing the lawn!  It’s about having a terrific time.  Relieving the stress of petty daily aggravations in Mafia Wars should be fun.  It is when you aren’t getting the enjoyment from your game sessions that you start looking for the missing piece in the puzzle.

You know there is a learning curve in all games, and you just want master the basics in order to get up to speed as quickly as you can.  Some of the fun is, after all, the assembly of the puzzle pieces in your distinct way and at your own pace.  But there’s something about those 6 million other active players and everyone expressing their criminal urges that leads to some misery for beginning players.

Targeting the new gamers on the fight list is a commonly promoted strategy dished out by game top dogs.  It’s no surprise, I guess.  There are times in your sessions when you absolutely need to dump stamina and acquire some no-risk experience points.  Since a mobster doesn’t need to defend their code of honor, why risk it? Any new player is an easy target, after all.  When you’ve got a mega crew and the best equipment from NY, Cuba, and Moscow, it’s a cinch to find a level 10 with five mafia members and a revolver to beat to a pulp.  And when you fit the whipping boy description, that’s your tough break…?  Forget about it!

I can’t stand bullies in real life, yet alone in an online game.  I understand that REAL mobsters are bullies to the max.  It matches the Mafia Wars character to victimize the newbie.  But I still don’t appreciate it.  When you’re a top dog in Mafia Wars and you’re looking for easy experience, go get Spockholm’s bookmarklet “SpammerHunt” and fight those spammers rather than picking on “weak” newbies.

Sorry, I’m on one of my fave soapboxes.

My point is that you don’t have to be the inexperienced, brutalized player any more.  Searching for a Mafia Wars ebook shows me that you’re committed enough about dominating the game to give some time to develop your skills.  That gets you head and shoulders above ninety nine percent of players, because most won’t investigate beyond their profile page.  And there is a some excellent Mafia Wars 411 floating around out there that will make your game more powerful.

A good place to begin is with a good Mafia Wars ebook.  Because, let’s be truthful, it’s no fun to play Mafia Wars with someone standing on your back.  It’s very possible to get off course as you fool around with the details of the game.  The magic of an ebook is that it gives you the total picture of the puzzle you are assembling as you play Mafia Wars, so you can know what’s the correct move to make next.

Having a Mafia Wars ebook will be like lifting a blindfold and let you to start tearing through the ranks with ease.  Say farewell to loser-ville and hello to knowing what you’re doing in Mafia Wars.  Become the confident player you hope to be.  Have a good time.  Knock the bullies down like the rats they are.  Tomorrow can be a whole new Mafia Wars experience!

Mafia Wars Strategy Guide – Will It Help You?

December 13th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

The appeal of Mafia Wars lies in acting like that amoral, criminal character that is nothing like our real self.  New players aren’t twitching about uncovering the inside scoop from a Mafia Wars strategy guide.  You are too involved with exploring the game, squinting at that hard-to-read text (why is the background BLACK?), and learning what all the nifty buttons do.

After a few weeks, and maybe a few beat downs on the fight list, the thinking sets in.  You’re not strutting your stuff street smart.  You feel a little weak in the knees about game strategy.  What is the deal with the submissive posture you’re taking on?

  • Add me, please!
  • Please join my crew!
  • I need help with this job!
  • I need this item to complete collection X, please?

Are you tired of crawling through Mafia Wars sessions yet?

A Mafia Wars strategy guide becomes something you wonder about, now.  If only there was a textbook that showed you how assert yourself and act like the criminal mastermind you know you are!  After all, you didn’t become a made man in order to fail in Mafia Wars.

You see the top players – heck, you’ve been beat down by the super players.  You read their stats and posts and you think:

  • Can I achieve that level in a hundred years!?
  • This player WANTS to be hitlisted?
  • How do they gather these mafia members and make their crew so big?
  • How does this player rake in that kind of income – in Cuba, too!?

…it’s can’t be possible!

I’m glad to tell you that it is completely possible to get into position just like those top players. The one difference between you and them is Mafia Wars how to.  It could be that they got their insider info the old-fashioned way.   Maybe they suffered to learn all the stuff they know now.

Or maybe they got a Mafia Wars strategy guide.

There’s good news and bad news about a Mafia Wars strategy guide.  On the bright side, guides are on the market.  The bummer is that it’s difficult to tell which one is right for you.  You can seriously empty your real bank account buying Mafia Wars guides.  I’ve read them and reviewed them.  Some are good and some are just not what you need.

There’s a new Mafia Wars strategy guide on the market entitled Mafia Wars Blueprint.  This guide includes a leveling guide and overview of Mafia Wars, sort of like a hybrid of the other guides existing on the market.  The author is THE top Mafia Wars player, too, so you can be sure the guide is rock solid.

When you’re set to take your Mafia Wars to the next level, you’d be nuts to pass this guide by.

  • Uncover secrets of Cuba AND Moscow
  • Attacks and robberies can be a thing of your past
  • So long to crew recruitment struggles
  • Level up with tons of Mafia Wars money to throw around
  • Avoid game killing mistakes that 99% are making in Mafia Wars

Mafia Wars Blueprint is the top shelf Mafia Wars strategy guide on the market right now.  You can read my Mafia Wars Blueprint review for yourself.

Has Your Character Choice Sunk Your Mafia Wars Leveling Strategy?

December 4th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

How bogus is it that the initial time you fired up Mafia Wars you had to select a character type even though you had no idea about leveling up strategy in Mafia Wars?  Unfortunately, you can’t alter your Mafia Wars character selection anymore.  When Mafia Wars first came out, you could alter character type in exchange for Godfather points, but that option was removed from the game.

You hear rumors about Zynga bringing that Mafia Wars character switcheroo option back, yet so far no dice.  You’d expect Zynga to bring back the Mafia Wars character switching option again just because it would be a cash cow for them.  Loads of Mafia Wars addicts would love to buy another character type.  It’s not like Zynga to leave money on the table.

Looks like for the time being you will be the character that you chose when you were a noob without any Mafia Wars strategy for leveling.  These are the 3 character choices in Mafia Wars:

Mogul
Maniac
Fearless

A character type has one major benefit, one top mafia spot, and 1 intermittent power.  Check out| the Mafia Wars character descriptions individually so you can follow the leveling debate that comes next.

Mafia Wars Mogul Character
Major benefit: receives the sixty minute take every fifty four minutes.
Top Mafia spot: Bagman
Unique power: If you are promoted into Bagman in another’s mafia, you sometimes earn 2xs the money on jobs

Maniac Character in Mafia Wars
Primary benefit: Energy rebuilds at one point every three minutes, rather than one point every 5
Top Mafia spot: Button Man
Bonus power: When you occupy the Buttonman spot in another player’s crew, you can attack a Mafia Wars player with superior stats, mafia size, and equipment and have the chance to win the fight anyway.

Character: Fearless
Primary benefit: Health returns more quickly - one point every 2 minutes rather than one every 3.
Top Mafia position: Wheelman
Unique Power: When you occupy the Wheelman spot in another gamer’s crew, a Fearless can complete a certain percentage of jobs without losing energy.

I don’t know any Mafia Wars strategy experts who argue the Mogul character helps you level more quickly when you are after job-based leveling.  Sure, having the additional 144 minutes of “take” every 24 hours is sweet for cash flow.  Being a Mogul character is a real plus in the lower levels while a Mafia Wars player is trying to balance income and upkeep.  But whether you are a Mogul or not, odds are you’ll iron out the money objective pretty quickly in the game.  That makes the Mogul character’s primary benefit a little useless before you get to far up the leveling ladder.

Leaving the Mogul character aside, there is a heated debate raging about whether Maniac or Fearless is the best character for strategic Mafia Wars leveling.  These are summaries of the debate:

Arguments in Favor of Maniac

Speed leveling is all about energy, and Maniac is the character with the best energy recovery.  In Mafia Wars, you can’t ever have enough energy.  Sure, the Maniac doesn’t have the best bonus power because once you know what you’re doing in Mafia Wars  you only attack when you can win anyway.  But the rapid energy recovery is where it’s at for leveling.  And that’s why you want to pick a Maniac character when you want to get to top boss fast.

Arguments in Favor of Fearless

Fearless is the best Mafia Wars character for speed leveling.  While fast health recovery is regarded as a throw away quality by most, the come-and-go power of doing some jobs at no energy cost is so good that speedy leveling is a guarantee for Fearless.  The Mafia Wars leveling strategy for a Fearless is to have another player put you in that Wheelman spot despite your lack of experience.  As a Wheelman, you will get 6-11% of your jobs done with paying any energy points.  Those conserved energy points allow a Fearless to level up much faster.  The Fearless power gets more significant as you advance into higher tiers where jobs demand even more energy.  Plus, Fearless’ health recovery may be a bit valueless in NYC, but in Cuba it’s aces because you take a pounding on the fightlist and pesos for the hospital are scarce.

When you’re after Mafia Wars leveling, which character is best?  If you can land a Wheelman in someone’s crew, I’ve got to select Fearless as the superior Mafia Wars leveling character.  More important to Mafia Wars strategy overall is the advantage both characters have in common.  If you want to succeed at speedy leveling, you’ll have to master handling your Mafia Wars energy.  Clearly, Mafia Wars leveling pivots on maximizing your energy.

The bad news is that you are stuck with the Mafia Wars character you selected on that first session.  Improving your energy strategy will escalate your Mafia Wars leveling no matter what character you are!  Another avenue is to open an additional Facebook profile you use just for a Mafia Wars speed level up character.  A new Fearless character would benefit from promotion into top mafia Wheelman and receive gifts from your existing character, as well!  Just don’t have so many characters going that you can’t keep track (yeah, don’t get me started on that story!
