Farmville creator Zynga has built into their game some helpful tools for players whose fields are starting to get too huge for them to efficiently farm. If you are starting to get tired of ticking every little square of your farm many times just to plow, plant and harvest, you may need to think about buying a a vehicle or two. Vehicles give you more time to appreciate your farm because they allow you to work four times quicker than your usual speed. Players who’ve expanded more than a few times and are hovering around a huge field should definitely think about purchasing a vehicle.

What Vehicles Are Available

In Farmville, you can buy any of these four vehicles: Red Tractor, Pink Tractor, Seeder and Harvester. You will need one of every kind if you have a large field. Each of these vehicles costs 30,000 in Farm coins, so plan accordingly. You may like to purchase just one to start with—select the tool that allows you spend as little time as possible doing the task you don’t like the most.

What They Can Do For You

These great vehicles that you’ve just bought can help you seed, plow or harvest four times faster than your normal pace. They affect a 2×2 square of field, so each click of your mouse you plant, harvest, or plow 4 squares simultaneously. Be sure that your farms fit this template—in other words, make big square or rectangular fields. These will be the easiest and most time-efficient to work with.

Their Weaknesses

These vehicles, superb as they are, do have one catch that can be annoying (and potentially expensive): They need fuel to work. In the lower left corner of your screen, look at the fuel gauge and watch as it gradually empties as you use your vehicle. You have sufficient fuel to plow 150 squares of field. When you don’t have fuel anymore, you are left with two choices. You can either spend Farm cash to buy refills or just wait 6.5 hours for your fuel tank to fill-up entirely.

Buying the most refills is the best bargain because you’re only paying .33 Farm Cash for every refill. If you are going to go this way, you might as well make the big investment and get the greatest possible return. On the other hand, you can just wait for your fuel tank to completely refill if you’re feeling frugal. You have to plan if you have multiple crops going at the same time, so that your fuel tank has time to refill completely for the next harvest.

The Conclusion

You ought to have vehicles when you expand your farm multiple times if you want to earn many coins. How  you control your fuel economy is really up to you. Before buying something, make sure that you think about your goals for Farmville. Remember, you don’t have to use your cash to get to the top, but at times it sure helps!
