If you take PC gaming seriously then you will want to get the most out of each game. But the fact that most people are not using their computers to the optimum means that it is unlikely that they will be getting the most from their games. Here are a few tips to ensure that your computer isn’t ruining your gaming experience.

- Whenever you are playing a game you should make a point of closing down your other programs if possible. Your game can even be affected by anti-virus software and this can cause you to have problems playing the game which can spoil your enjoyment.

- Running a regular defrag on your computer is a good idea. This procedure ensures that the files on your computer are organised efficiently so that the computer can more easily find the files it needs. Completing a defrag is very easy, and it ensures that your computer is optimised for good performance. Your computer will just continue to run slower and slower the longer you leave it before running a defrag.

- You need to make sure that you have sufficient virtual memory for playing PC games. Only old computers will have a problem with virtual memory and this can be easily rectified if you go into your control panel and then reset your virtual memory to around 3GB.

- Make sure that you have the latest version of your video card driver. This will not only ensure that the video card is performing well, but any bugs that have been discovered will have been fixed in the latest version of the driver.

- If you are having problems with the stability of certain games then you might need a game patch update. Most developers will release these patches when they discover that there are any problems with stability and certain systems.

The above are just a few ways that you can make sure your PC gaming experience is the best it can be.

Carte R4 and gaming cards are important to avid gamers in every location, so being prepared for just about all situations is the way to go. More things that gamers will feel are very important are Carte AceKard2i and Accessoires PS3.

Looking To Buy R4 DS? Tips & Tricks You’ll Need For Your R4 DS.

November 13th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

For new readers, here’s a quick run down of just what the R4 DS is. If you’d like more information on the R4 DS cards, you may want to read my other articles on the R4 DS.  In my previous articles I went into the details of exactly what the R4 DS is, what it can do, and how it works. To save time for readers that are following my articles, I won’t list every single feature and function for the r4 ds but you can find it all in google search.{com for a detailed feature and function list}~com for a list of all of the features and functions~{com for a list of all of the features and functions}~{com for detailed lists of features and functions}~com for a list of features~com for a list of all functions~com for a detailed run down of all features and functions}. If you’re not clear on all of the features and functions of the R4 DS, then I suggest you do a searc on google or go to www.ps2cover.com.

The R4 DS allows you to turn your NDS into not only a game system, but also a full MP3 and Movie player as well as an eBook reader… on your NDS or DSi console. It turns your Nintendo DS system into a whole entertainment center, all for under .00

There are some quick and easy tips to follow. While some of these tips may seem obvious, it even took me about a week and a half of using the R4 DS before I came up with some ways to make my life (and game playing) a little bit easier.

1. Store your game and other files in a directory on your MicroSD memory card. To help you organize your files, I recommend putting all of your files into directories that you set up for these specific files. GAMES should be store in your GAMES folder. It makes browsing to them in the menu much easier, and all your game save files will also be organized.

2. Store your MP3 Music files and video files in seperate folders too, and in the case of multiple music albums on the memory card, you should make a sub-directory of each album. This is something that is a must for anyone that has a lot of music where all of the songs are labeled TRACK 1, Track 2, etc..MP3 Music, Track 2.mp3, etc… By putting your files in seperate and different directories, you’ll at least have them organized because you can put all of your MP3 albums in individual directories so you’ll at least know that TRACK-1.MP3 in the music directory is the album that you’re looking for.

3. Make sure you try and make a copy of all of your game saves on your hard drive at least 1-2 times a week. Not because they could get corrupted on the microSD card in the R4 DS, but because you may want to go back to an earlier save point later in the game. Moving files on and off the microSD Card is easy. Making sure you keep a backup of your game saves is not. For this reason, I always recommend that you keep a backup of your microSD card files on you desktop in a folder. or a folder somewhere else on you PC. While this one really seems like an obvious hint, you would be surprised to know that most of our technical support emails for the R4 DS deal with how to get back erased or deleted game saves that were not backed up. I recommend doing this at LEAST once a week, more if you play your games more frequently.

4. You don’t want to take out the microSD Card from the R4 DS in the NDS each time you want to add files. Just push the microSD card and it will pop of out the slot in the r4 ds card. You can then quickly put it into the included microSD Card reader / writer in order to change games and files or add music or video.

5. This is my very last tip. And it handles the Micro SD card in the R4DS card slot. When you put the Nintendo DS or DS Lite into your pocket or pick it up. Check to make sure that the microSD card is in the R4 DS card. Make sure that the microSD card is in the card slot of the R4DS and it’s not loose or ready to pop out. While there are failsafes to protect you against the microSD from popping out the microSD card accidentally, it could happen. There would be nothing that could be more of a problem that not knowing where your microSD Card is. MicroSD Cards are small and tiny, and once lost, you would have a hard time finding it anywhere else except at a store, where you’d be buying a new one. If your NDS is in a case you can protect yourself from losing your R4 DS Card. Don’t turn your power on, until you have done this.

The R4 DS is a cartridge that emulates and behaves exactly like an original Nintendo DS cartridge, but with many more features and functions. It also allows you to play MP3 music as well as watch movies on your Nintendo DS. The r4 DS turns your Nintendo DS or i into a full blown hand held multimedia system. It’ll allow you to watch movies, listen to MP3 music and much more. For more information on the R4 DS cards and homebrew games in general, please visit http://www.ps2cover.com/nintendo-ds.shtml

Focus on the PlayStation Eye

August 27th, 2009 by admin | No Comments | Filed in copy playstation games

Just recently, at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo conference, Sony presented what they call the Sony Playstation Eye. Sound familiar? You may be thinking of Sony’s EyeToy, a feature used on the Playstation 2 that allowed for the realisation of the real time activities of the player. The Eye expands on this notion in some extremely impressive ways, but they are not wholly new ones. That being said, it is very difficult to know just to what extent this feature will actually influence the world of gaming, if it can.

If you didn’t see E3, one of the leading uses of  Sony Playstation Eye is the motion sensing. How this sensing is accomplished is via the recognition of the glowing orb at the edge of the remote distributed for the Eye. Sony’s designers moved forward to offer a live performance of the Playstation Eye’s capabilities, using the remote to function with a 3D interface inside the TV screen and demonstrating exactly how the equipmentcould be added to games like first-person shooters, real-time strategy, and even action. All movement the gamer creates with the remote is mirrored onscreen with 1:1 accuracy.

Once again, does not that sound somewhat familiar? At the previous E3, Nintendo accomplished the very same thing with their Wii Motion Plus peripheral. It too captures and replicates movements at 1 to 1 accuracy. The single significant disparity amid the two peripherals is that the Sony Playstation Eye asks an updated version of their EyeToy camera to follow the remotes, but Nintendo’s Wii Motion Plus attaches to to an unseen sensor bar without cables. If anything, Sony’s newest attempt could be less advanced next to last year’s Nintendo technology.

Though following in the footsteps of readily available features, the Eye remains an excellent offering of hardware that’s guarenteed to excite many owners of the PlayStation 3. Although it cannot significantly change the realm of gaming completely, the Sony Playstation Eye accomplishes a lot for Sony’s empire, and will perhaps assist the developers catch up in regard to innovation.
