Time’s running short and if you want to level another shaman toon to 80 you need a solid guide that will get you there before the Cataclysm hits us all. Every WoW player knows that leveling the first character is fun. If you want another char at level 80 you have to go through all the stress all over again.

There will be nothing new or exciting waiting for you. Basically you have to repeat every quest that you have already done. Spending hour after hour doing brain dead and boring stuff to get a few XP and cheap items you can’t even sell. Boring to the point that you will think about just deleting the new character because it seems you will never ding 80.

I know this frustration, that’s why I want to share a few secrets with you that will help you to level faster and hit 80 as soon as possible: My Shaman leveling guide.

This is my first piece of advice: Instead of grinding till your fingers bleed spend your time doing quests even if it seems more complex and tedious. Grinding is a thing of the past and instances reward you with neat items but little experience.

Groups slow down questing because of all the social interactions so it’s best to go at it alone. Many players group up to kill mobs faster and save some time. But since you are also going to share the experience, you will overall waste more time than you can save. All quests are easy and can be done as a solo effort without much trouble. Ignore the quests that require a group because they are not worth the effort in terms of experience/hour.

My second advice is to get an in-game Shaman leveling guide. That’s an add-on that can save you a huge amount of time! It’s programmed to show you the perfect questing path. That’s the fastest order to accept, complete and turn in each and every quest in the whole game.

An in-game Shaman leveling guide will reward you with the highest xp/hour rate so you can finally fly through the levels and hit 80 in no time.

Do You Have The Best Rogue Gear For Fast Leveling

If you want to maximize your leveling speed with your combat rogue, this rogue gear guide will help you to find the perfect equipment for your character.

Good gear is critical for power leveling because the stats modify your toon and improve your damage and health.

This guide will explain to you the important stats of a rogue, their priority and how you can exploit them to get the most out of your char.

Agility

Agility is the most important stat for rogues, because it improves many different aspects: Overall damage and armor, crit chance and dodge rating. Go for equipment that focuses on this attribute and seek to improve it all the time.

Attack Power

Also important for a rogue, because a rogue is a natural born damage dealer. For every 14 points in Attack Power your DPS increases by 1. Additionally, your off-hand gets half the bonus. Keep in mind that this is the overall damage as each weapon has different attack speed, so the damage is spread accordingly across your attacks.

Hit Rating

As a natural dual-wielding class, rogues suffer from problems hitting the target. This handicap can be decreased by focusing on the Hit Rating to help you hit your target more often. Otherwise you would lose a lot of your damage potential and missing the enemy in a bad moment can be deadly.

Critical Strike Rating

This attrib should be self-explanatory. Note that the points of crit. rating needed to get a +1% crit. hit chance increases with your level. In higher levels you will need much more rating to get the same benefits.

Stamina

Although rogues rely more on their evasive abilities, a few more hitpoints can’t hurt. After all, even with all your skills and abilities, you won’t survive if you are more fragile than a glass cannon. Raid bosses often deal area of effect damage which is deadly if you are low on hitpoints.
