Enchanting is both the nicest and hardest profession to level up in WoW. It will bring a wide array of benefits to those players that choose to learn it. Enchanting pieces of your gear will provide them with the improved statistics, contributing to the much better class-specific performance of your character. Click here for more on WoW Enchanting
Ability to Disenchant
Ability to Disenchant is acquired as soon as you learn Enchanting as your primary profession. You will be able to use this skill to disenchant any piece of uncommon, rare or epic items which you no longer need and get precious essences, dust and shards out of them. These products of disenchanting can be further used to enchant some other items or to bring you a nice profit if you decide to sell them on the Auction House.
Gear comes and goes. As you level, you will try out a great number of gear sets, the trend which will continue even when you reach the level 80. New dungeons and new raid locations are constantly introducing new tier sets, posing an ever-growing need for improvement. Once you get a new piece of gear the old item will immediately become obsolete, and it is a shame to sell it to a vendor for some low price. With disenchanting you can disenchant all the pieces of your old gear and get some valuable items.
Enchanting assets
Main use of Enchanting is to improve the statistics of your items. Still, there are benefits available to Enchanters only, such as ring enchants. Regardless of their class or specialization, everyone can benefit from these rings enchants, available solely to Enchanters. It is especially useful for healing and dps classes, and there is a great number of players who decide to level up Enchanting for the ring enchants solely.
What does Enchanting require?
Every Enchanter will need a trainer to learn the new skills from. Trainers of this profession are located in all of the Azeroth, Northrend and Outland major cities. The next requirement for the Enchanter to be able to perform the skill is the appropriate Enchanting Rod. For certain levels of his skill an Enchanter will need different enchanting rods. Enchanters can make those rods by themselves, although they will need to acquire the appropriate Fel Iron, Arcanite, Titanium, Adamantite or some other type of rod from a Blacksmith player.
How to obtain Enchanting mats
Main source of materials for an Enchanter is his disenchanting skill. Still, you will need to spend either a lot of time on farming or a lot of money on the Auction house in order to acquire the needed amount of Uncommon or Rare items. Naturally, this process is very time-consuming and costly. Enchanters will do best if they pair up Enchanting with some crafting primary profession, like Tailoring. Tailoring requires a lot of cloth for crafting the final products. As cloth is really easy to grind this profession combo can be the perfect solution.
Is Enchanting Profitable?
Enchanting will easily bring you a lot of profit, simply by offering your skills for sale or by selling products of disenchanting. If you decide to offer your skills for sale, you will get opportunity to charge more for your work if you have higher level enchants available. As for disenchanting the items, it will be fairly easy since most players need shards, essences and dust for their own enchants. If you would like more on WoW Leveling, click here: WoW Guide
