The buildings in Farmville each serve different functions. A few are useful, such as the Chicken Coop which can stock up to 20 chickens for you. Chickens have a possibility of producing Mystery Eggs in this coop, a highly desirable item that you will not be able to obtain in another way while in this coop. Other buildings, like the Tea House or Pagoda, are simply decorative. You need to bear in mind what you want from a building when you purchase it and place it on your farm.
Buildings for Decoration
You can give your farm an added personality through the use of decorative buildings. If your farm is Asian inspired, why not put a Pagoda or Tea House in your farm? Buy the Black Manor or Black Barn if you aspire to have a haunted farm. There are Tree Houses in a lot of colors, and numerous houses ranging to the most luxurious building currently available: the million dollar villa that you can obtain at level 34. Aditionally, farm connected structures such as Greenhouse, Fruit stand and Silo are offered. These structures decorate your farm but has no other beneficial purpose.

At this time Tool sheds and Barns can keep things are no longer needed but which you still wouldn’t like to put up for sale. A Toolshed can keep up to 2 objects; the Barns hold 8. Utilize your space sensibly; don’t misuse it on useless or easily replaced items.
The Garden Shed is another one of the newest items in Farmville. It is used to hold perfect bunches of flowers. Store them fresh in here and bring them out only when you want toreplenish your decorative borders . You may also give perfect bunches of flowers stored in your Garden Shed to your Farmville neighbors. You store as much as twenty five perfect bunches in it.
Animal Buildings
Dairy Barn was the first ever animal service building launched in Farmville. It is completely useful and keeps up to 20 cows. Storing cows is not the only function of this building, it also enables you to harvest all 20 cows instantly. Furthermore, special cows like Alien Cows and Brown Cows can be housed in this barn. However, their heads which is visible from outside of the building will not be reflect the actual colors of the cows. Chicken Coop is a new animal storage building. This building, much similar the barn, can store as much as 20 chickens and allows the farmer to harvest them all in one go. In addition, they also provide the possibility of producing Mystery Eggs. There is a probability to obtain “Mystery Eggs” everytime you harvest from the coop. The Mystery Eggs will be in a variety of colors, depending on the color of the chickens you’ve kept inside your coop.From white chickens, you get Premium White Mystery Eggs.These will normally hatch into more white chickens, though you there is a chance to get a Brown Chicken, a Black Chicken, a Golden Chicken, or a surprise item like a Flamingo decoration.Here is a suggestion:Keep your most unique chickens in your coop. This way you will find better eggs.These colorful chickens can be purchased from the Market with your Farm Cash.
